Legacy Giving

Preserve farmland forever with a lasting gift. Designate the Yolo Land Trust as a beneficiary of your estate. The most common type of legacy gift is in your will or trust. Learn more here. Planned Gifts

IRA Distribution

Those age 70 ½ can give money to charities directly from their IRAs. A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) counts toward satisfying an individual’s required minimum distribution for the year and is excluded from the taxpayer’s income.

Pay attention to local land use matters in your area. Contact your councilmembers, supervisors, Representatives and Senators and let them know how strongly you feel about protecting the working farms of Yolo County. It all helps make a difference!
