Will you help protect local farms? As the year-end approaches, you can make a meaningful contribution to the preservation of farmland across Yolo County. Your gift to YLT directly supports essential work to finalize land agreements with willing landowners, ensuring more farmland is protected for future generations. Together we can cultivate hope for the future of farming in Yolo County.

Make a BIG Difference for Local Farmland

Yolo Land Trust joins over 700 Sacramento region non-profit organizations to participate in the Big Day of Giving. Big Day of Giving is an initiative to grow local philanthropy, it is a giving challenge that brings together the region’s nonprofit community to help raise much needed unrestricted funds and shine a spotlight on the work nonprofits do to make the Sacramento region the place we love to call home.

This year we are looking ahead, to the projects we can complete to bring awareness to our vital mission and ultimately conserve even more acreage of prime agricultural land in Yolo County. In order to be most successful at protecting even more farmland acreage we have a goal of raising $15,000 for Big Day of Giving.

Can you help us reach our goal? We ask that you support Yolo Land Trust by making a Big Day of Giving donation. Donations will be used to advance our efforts of donor engagement and community outreach through such projects as an impact report, a storytelling video, and easement land identifier signage.

You can help Yolo Land Trust by donating anytime April 21 through May 5, sharing among your networks that you will be supporting Yolo Land Trust, and reposting our content on your own social media pages.

It’s simple to donate! Donations can be made by check or credit/debit card April 21 through May 5.
